Papaya (Nahriya)

Papaya is a popular beach break near Nahriya, north of Tel Aviv, known for its consistent waves. The spot works best in winter with west swells and east-southeast offshore winds. Both left and right waves form here, ideal for beginners and intermediate surfers. Water temperatures stay moderate around 20°C, but expect crowds during peak sessions. Mid-tide conditions provide the most reliable surf.
