Mullaghderg Beach

Mullaghderg Beach is a secluded beach break in Donegal that works sporadically, with no clear seasonal pattern. The waves, both left and right, are best around high tide and come primarily from northwest groundswells. Southeast winds provide the best conditions, though onshore winds can ruin the surf. The water stays cold year-round, requiring a wetsuit, and submerged rocks pose a hazard. Despite its inconsistent waves, the lack of crowds makes it a peaceful spot for beginners.
