Safari Island

Located on Lombok's west coast, Safari Island is a sheltered reef break known for its reliable waves, especially from May to October. The best conditions occur with west-sourced groundswells and southeast winds, with mid-tide offering the most favorable surf. This advanced-level break features a long left-hand reef wave, but surfers must navigate around rocks, which pose a significant hazard. The warm tropical waters and consistent swell make it a top-tier destination for experienced surfers.
