Located in Sonoma County, Salmon Creek is a beginner-friendly beach break with consistent waves from distant groundswells. The best conditions occur at mid-tide with falling water, producing both left and right-handers. Surfers should be cautious of rocks, strong rips, sharks, and localism. The cold water requires a wetsuit, and crowds can be expected on good days.
