The Lagoons

Located in Humboldt County, The Lagoons is a breakwater spot with fairly consistent waves, best around low tide. The beach breaks produce both left and right-hand waves, making it beginner-friendly. Southwest swells and east winds create ideal conditions, though the water remains cold at 11.7°C, requiring a wetsuit. Surfers should be cautious of strong rip currents in the area.
