Located in Valencia, Playa Poniente is a beach and reef break that delivers waves mostly from local windswells, with the best conditions coming from the southeast. The spot produces both left and right-handers, though it works best during certain wind and swell conditions. Intermediate surfers will enjoy the ride, but beware of rocks, strong rips, and crowds when it's working. Water temperatures stay cold year-round, so a wetsuit is essential.
