Vale do Lobo

Located in the Algarve, Vale do Lobo is a beach break with fairly consistent waves from west-southwest swells. The best conditions occur at mid tide, producing both left and right-handers. Suitable for beginners, it can get crowded when the surf is good. Offshore northeast winds help shape the waves, while cold water requires a wetsuit. Surfers should be mindful of the busy lineup during peak times.
