Montoya

Located in South Uruguay, Montoya is a beach and point break known for its fairly consistent waves, particularly during autumn and winter. The ideal swell direction is from the south, with offshore winds blowing from the northwest. Most waves break as rights, and while the surf can get crowded, the moderate water temperature of 21.9°C makes it comfortable. Surfers should be cautious of rocks in the area.
