Punta Chipehua

Located in Oaxaca, Punta Chipehua features a beach reef and point break with fairly consistent waves. The best conditions arrive in summer, with south-southwest swells and north winds creating ideal surf. Both left and right waves break here, suitable for intermediate surfers. Water temperatures stay warm year-round, and crowds are rare even when waves are good. Surfers should be aware of shark sightings in the area.
