Ammes Beach Kefalonia

Located in the Ionian Sea, Ammes Beach features a point break with both left and right-hand waves. The best surf conditions occur in winter, with windswells from the south-southwest. Offshore northeast winds create ideal conditions, while light onshore winds are still manageable. The waves work well at all tide stages, and the break remains uncrowded even when surfable. Water temperatures are cold, requiring a wetsuit, but the uncrowded lineup makes it a great spot for beginners.
