Papa Tangaroa

Located on the West Coast of Easter Island, Papa Tangaroa is a reef break known for its powerful, consistent waves. The best conditions occur with south-southwest swells and north winds, delivering long, hollow rides. Suitable for advanced and expert surfers, the break works well at all tide stages and rarely gets crowded. Surfers should be cautious of rocks, sharks, urchins, and strong rip currents.
