Located on Sydney's North Coast, Avalon-South is a beach break known for its powerful waves, attracting advanced and expert surfers. The spot handles a mix of groundswells and windswells, with the best conditions coming from east-northeast swells and west winds. Both left and right waves form here, but the break can get crowded.
