Chicken Reef

Located on Rottnest Island, Chicken Reef is a left-hand reef break that works best with south-southwest swells. The waves are consistent year-round, though summer can be flatter. Ideal wind conditions come from the north-northeast, and the water stays at a comfortable 22.2°C. Surfers should be cautious of rocks and sharks, but the spot rarely gets crowded.
