Byron Bay - The Wreck

Located on the North Coast of New South Wales, The Wreck is a sheltered reef break with reliable waves year-round. Winter brings the best conditions, with southeast swells and offshore winds from the south-southwest. The break features both left and right-hand reef sections, along with beach breaks, suitable for experienced surfers. Watch for hazards like rocks, rips, and strong currents. Water temperatures remain pleasant at 24.6°C, but crowds can be expected when the surf is good.
