Mitikas Reef

Located in the Ionian Sea, Mitikas Reef is a reef break that delivers powerful waves, especially during winter and spring. The best conditions occur with southwest swells and east winds, though cross shore breezes can be challenging. Suitable for intermediate surfers, the break works well at all tides but requires caution due to hazards like sharks, rips, and urchins. The cold water demands a wetsuit, and crowds are rare even when the surf is good.
