Brandenburg Westerland (Sylt)

Located on Sylt's North Sea coast, Brandenburg Westerland is a beginner-friendly beach break with mostly wind-driven waves. The best conditions occur with northwest swells and offshore east-southeast winds, particularly around mid-tide. While the surf can be reliable, summer often brings flat conditions. The beach break produces both left and right-hand waves, but strong rips and crowded lineups require caution.
