Borkum Nordstrand

Located in the North Sea, Borkum Nordstrand is a remote beach break with mostly unreliable waves, especially in summer. The best conditions come from north-northwest swells and offshore southeast winds, producing both left and right breaks. While it rarely gets crowded, the area has strong rip currents and no shelter from cross-shore winds. A wetsuit is essential due to the frigid water temperatures.
