La Torchere

Located in Gironde, La Torchere is a beach break with very consistent waves suitable for intermediate surfers. The spot handles all tides and works with both groundswells and windswells, favoring west swells. Expect lefts and rights, but beware of crowds, strong rips, and localism. The cold water requires a wetsuit, and ideal conditions come with east-southeast winds.
