Located in Finistere, Plage de Gwendrez is a beach break with waves fueled by both local and distant swells. The best conditions occur with northeast offshore winds and southwest swells, producing both left and right-handers. While summer can be flat, the spot delivers fairly consistent surf year-round. The cold water requires a wetsuit, but the rewarding waves make it worth the chill. Intermediate surfers will find this spot challenging yet rewarding.
