Ile de Re - Petit Bec

Located in Charente Maritime, Petit Bec is a popular beach break that works year-round, especially with north-northwest swells. The best wind comes from the southeast, creating clean conditions for both left and right-hand waves. Suitable for intermediate surfers, the spot can get crowded when conditions are good. Water temperatures are cold, requiring a wetsuit, and the waves are fairly consistent. Crowds are the main hazard, so arrive early for the best sessions.
