Located in Viti Levu, Kia Island Reef is a beginner-friendly spot with fairly consistent waves. The best conditions arrive in summer, with ideal swells from the north-northeast. South-southwest winds create the smoothest rides, though there's no shelter from cross breezes. Surfers should watch for rocks in the lineup, but crowds are rare due to its remote location.
