Ubicado en la costa oeste de Kintyre, Carskiey Bay es un beach break resguardado que funciona mejor en invierno con swells del noroeste. Las olas aquí son impredecibles, dominadas por windswells sobre groundswells, y las mejores condiciones ocurren en marea baja. Los surfistas pueden esperar tanto izquierdas como derechas, aunque el lugar suele estar poco concurrido. Corrientes fuertes y agua fría (9.4°C) exigen precaución y traje de neopreno.
