Located in the Golfo de Nicoya, Chacarita is a beach break that delivers left and right-handers when conditions align. The waves are best with south-southwest swells and north-northeast winds, though they are inconsistent. Intermediate surfers will find the most success here, especially around high tide. The area is rarely crowded, but be cautious of strong rips and potential pollution. Water temperatures remain warm year-round at around 28.3°C.
