Haitan Bay (Haitan Dao)

Haitan Bay, located in Fujian, China, features a beach break with both left and right-hand waves. The surf is fairly consistent, with north-northeast swells being the most favorable. East winds provide the best conditions, while southwest winds offer some shelter. The water is cold, requiring a wetsuit, and dangerous rips can be a hazard. Despite its quality, the spot rarely gets crowded, making it a great choice for beginners.
