El Chinchorro

El Chinchorro is a beach break in the Atacama region of Chile, known for its reliable waves that work year-round. The best conditions occur with southwest swells and offshore east-northeast winds, particularly around high tide. The waves peel nicely to the right, attracting intermediate surfers. However, the spot can get crowded and features strong rip currents, requiring caution. Water temperatures remain moderate at around 21.2°C.
