Wickaninnish

Located on Vancouver Island, Wickaninnish is a sandbar break known for its consistent waves, suitable for beginners. The best swells come from the west-southwest, with east winds creating ideal conditions. Both left and right-hand waves form here, though the spot can get crowded. Water temperatures are cold, requiring a wetsuit, and there's no shelter from cross-shore breezes.
