Ambleside Park

Located on Vancouver Island, Ambleside Park is a sheltered beach break ideal for beginners. The waves are fairly consistent, especially in winter, with short-period wind swells from the northwest. Offshore southeast winds create the best conditions, producing both left and right-hand waves. Despite its popularity, the spot rarely gets crowded. The cold water requires a wetsuit, and the overall rating is 2 out of 5 stars.
