Western Head Point

Located on Nova Scotia's South Coast, Western Head Point is a sheltered reef and point break that works year-round. The best waves come from northeast groundswells, with offshore winds from the north-northeast enhancing conditions. This spot is known for its uncrowded left-hand point breaks, making it a great choice for intermediate surfers. However, submerged rocks pose a hazard, so caution is advised. The cold water requires a wetsuit, but the consistent waves make it worth the effort.
