Marataizes

Located in Espírito Santo, Brazil, Marataizes is a beach break with inconsistent waves, especially flat in summer. The best conditions come from south swells and northwest winds, producing both left and right-hand waves. Suitable for beginners, the spot gets crowded and has poor water quality. The pleasant 22.9°C water temperature makes it an attractive but challenging surf destination.
