South Wall Mackay Harbour

Located on Queensland's North Coast, South Wall Mackay Harbour is a beach break that works sporadically without a clear seasonal pattern. The best waves come from the east, with windswells being more common than groundswells. Both left and right-hand waves form here, though the spot is rarely crowded. Ideal wind conditions are from the west-northwest, with some shelter from north winds. Water temperatures remain warm year-round at around 27.8°C.
