Sandbar

Sandbar is a reef break in Port Macquarie known for its consistent waves, especially in autumn and winter. The best conditions occur with west-northwest winds and mid-tide swells from the southeast. Both left and right-hand waves form here, suitable for intermediate surfers. Crowds can be expected when the surf is good, so arrive early. Be cautious of strong rips and shark sightings in the area.
