The waves here are powerful and best suited for experienced surfers, with the southeast swell direction producing the cleanest rides. Offshore winds from the west-northwest create ideal conditions, while the water stays comfortably warm at 22.3°C. Though rarely crowded, sharks are a known hazard in this area.
