Tessellated Pavements

Located on Tasmania's rugged East Coast, Tessellated Pavements is a premier reef break favored by advanced surfers. The best waves arrive from the south-southeast, especially during winter, with offshore winds from the north-northwest. While the right reef break is more consistent, a left reef also provides quality rides. Surfers should be cautious of strong rips, sharp rocks, and occasional shark sightings. Despite its stellar waves, the spot rarely gets crowded, making it a hidden gem for experienced surfers.
