Lauderdale Point

Located on Tasmania's East Coast, Lauderdale Point is a sheltered point break with fairly consistent waves. The best conditions occur in winter, with groundswells from the south-southwest and offshore winds from the west-southwest. Suitable for beginners, the break can get crowded when working. Surfers should be cautious of rocks, strong rips, and the chilly 16.9°C water requiring a wetsuit.
