Bruny Island - Lighthouse Bay

Lighthouse Bay offers consistent beach breaks with lefts and rights, best at high tide and with south swells.

Located on Bruny Island's wild west coast, Lighthouse Bay is a secluded beach break with fairly reliable waves. The best conditions occur with south swells and northwest winds, though summer can be flat. Waves suit beginners, with both left and right-hand breaks forming over sand. Surfers should be cautious of rocks, strong rips, sharks, and the area's remote location.
