Amanave Bay

Amanave Bay is a reef break in Tutuila that delivers fairly consistent waves, especially in autumn. The best conditions occur around high tide with rising water, and the southwest swells produce both left and right breaks. Ideal winds come from the east, and the warm tropical water (29.9°C) makes it inviting. Surfers should be cautious of sharp coral, strong rips, and the presence of sharks, though crowds are rarely an issue.
